Grid full game

So I've decided to make this guide. Time goes by and things evolve, like PCs and higher resolutions. But this game did not follow this evolution at the same pace. For those who installed and started up the game for the first time, it's only able to select resolutions up to x wide in the graphics settings for the game by default.

This happens because the game incorrectly detect the amount of VRAM when using newer graphics cards, which will lock you out of using higher resolutions. I wonder why Lucky for us, there's a solution. Make a backup, just in case.

Lud1crous 24 Nov, pm. Thank You. GivenToFly 13 Oct, am. If trouble just set "Aspect Ratio" to and then resolution x will be unlocked. I also didn't have any issues choosing any resolutions. I think on my previous way older PC I could also select p, which was my monitor's resolution, which just worked, so I'm sure that p would also have been there if I had the monitor for it.

This was on Windows 7 years ago, by the way. Is there anything to do about the resolutions of the textures, though? I mean, while the game still plays well, it didn't age as well as something like 'DiRT 2' visually. Any number of crazy scenarios, cars, and tracks are possible. Forza and GT are constantly praised for their ability to insert realism while adding tons of other missions and things to do throughout the game. This is exactly where GRID falls short despite being an overall accurate racing sim game. Its not the worst out there, its just disappointing to some extent. Before getting into what this game lacks, lets look at what this game excels in. I really enjoy the controls for this game.

The rerelease of Need For Speed was, unfortunately, a victim of carelessness regarding its controls. GRID also has decent graphics and has some great moments as an arcade racing game. Every race feels like its high stakes, the team building generates a bit of diversity, career mode and seasons are a bit bland but use a good formula overall, and the tracks had interesting designs and were just challenging enough to keep me interested. I think that the overall execution for GRID was acceptable — the real problems start to become apparent the longer you play it.

Perhaps the worst part of GRID, however, is the limited choices you have for cars and tracklists. Nearly every racing game is centered around choosing your own car, upgrading its specs, and trying out a variety of combinations in an effort to become the ultimate racer.
