Through the video featurette available today here on PlayStation. Blog, we reveal the fourth and final of the playable characters in Sacred Citadel. Each of the four protagonists will have their own combos, special moves, skills, and equipment, and they will each play totally differently. Head to our official website to learn more about them.
None other than the Seraphim Mage, a character who is very special and dear to all Sacred fans! The Seraphim has always played a unique role in the Sacred series — one could even say that she is the figurehead for Sacred. In Sacred Citadel, the Seraphim represents the Mage class, specializing in offensive magic.
She keeps to the background most of the time and casts devastating magic spells that cause elemental damage with various effects. With a spell book or a wand in her hand, she can also cause magic combo attacks using the elements of fire and ice. We look forward to playing Sacred Citadel with you online starting April 16th!

Awesomeness overload between Sacred Citadel, Guacamelee! Hey everyone! Ask me all about Sacred Citadel! Questions: 1 Will there be a demo or free trial? Oh, i thought it was a Vita game.. I take back my first post.. I have been since I first heard about it on the blog a few months back.
Hearing about the demo makes me happy too. I really like castle crashers and the couch co-op experience, so this game looks right up my ally.
I hope this game has a fun leveling up and unlocking new ability system. Fun stuff. We all loved him while he was at ign. Yeah, you can level up your characters to unlock new moves and assign stat points as you please. Looks awesome! Me and my son will be getting a kick out of this game then. Is the Seraphim mage class a wizard? Can a player also choose to play with one melee weapon instead of two while playing in action?
The Seraphim is a Mage class, or a Battle Sorceress if you will. You can use melee weapons and cast spells at the same time. The attacks are mapped to different buttons. Seems perfect for the system. We Vita owners may not number in the dozens of millions like our PS3 counterparts, but a majority of us are hardcore gamers that spend tens of hours per week playing that system, and we buy a crap-load of games. There's also co-op functionality and a wide selection of weapons on offer which also help out a lot in this regard.
It's not quite as polished as something like Streets of Rage 4, but the occasional glitches aren't nearly enough to soil what is otherwise a highly enjoyable game. River City Girls, which released two years later, marks a continuation of that progress and is considered by many to be the best that the series has to offer.
With its fantastic spritework and fast-paced gameplay, it's difficult not to fall in love with this stunning beat 'em up brawler. It's fun to play, littered with fantastic humor and features the perfect soundtrack for kicking ass and taking names. What's more, its availability on current gen consoles makes it easily accessible, which just isn't the case for many of the genre's other top offerings.
The company held the licences to some of the biggest and most popular franchises around and, unlike in modern times, used them to great effect. As a result, there were plenty of fantastic Konami titles to be found in arcades throughout the decade, with X-Men being one of the very best. Speaking of Storm, you could control her, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Wolverine, Cyclops, and fan-favorite Dazzler as they attempt to take on Magneto. At one point Street Fighter II was to be a Final Fight sequel, until it was reworked into the legendary 1 on 1 tournament fight it is known as today.
Bison Ever Did. Final Fight 3 was the pinnacle of the series as well as its final 2D entry, with all of the subsequent Final Fight games instead playing out in 3D. In gaining a new dimension, however, they ultimately lost a lot of the things that made the original games so enjoyable leading to the series fading away into obscurity.
